I tried knitting Align Mitts and the ribbing came out horrible. They would benefit from a good blocking. Instead of blocking these I will just knit a pair of mitts without ribbing! That option makes me happier as I usually don’t block mitts or socks. The yarn is Tanis Fiber Arts Blue Label in Dove.

As you can see the ribbing is very, very sad looking.

These hands aren’t mine. My husband is always my grumbling, reluctant hand model.  It’s really hard to take pictures of your own hands. Even with a tripod. IMG_4148Up next I’m going to knit Moebius Headband. It will be nice for my big poofy hair this winter. I’m going to use the same yarn. Then maybe if I have enough yarn left I will knit Zombie Vixen. There are still no socks being made. I haven’t got the shakes yet.

I did do some sewing. I made a pajama set for my nephew. Ive got a matching one in the works for my son. They are almost two and three. I’m going to make a nightgown out of the same material for my daughter. Since my knitting hiatus only lasted one day I’ve kind of abandoned my sewing projects to knit more. After one day it was like I had been away a year and now I can’t get enough. I’m weird! Thanks to the wonderful Preeti at Rambling Roses for the comments on how to potentially relieve my knitting pain. I’m definitely gonna try more sewing! If I can tear myself away from my knitting.
